Path@Penn and Advising@Penn Now Available

March 14, 2022

The NGSS multi-year project delivered a major release on March 14, 2022. The release included Path@Penn, the replacement for Penn InTouch, and
Advising@Penn, the replacement for Advisor InTouch. The enhanced interfaces provide new course registration and advising experiences for students and advisors.

The transition period through the end of the Spring 2022 term requires use of Penn InTouch and Advisor InTouch, as well as Path@Penn and Advising@Penn. During this time, members of the Penn community will use the InTouch systems for academic planning, degree requirements, and course information in reference to the current term. They will use the new @Penn tools to refer to the Summer 2022 and future terms. By the start of the new academic year on July 1, the Penn community will only use Path@Penn and Advising@Penn, as data from the Spring 2022 term will have been converted.

Students can log in and explore Path@Penn and validate and update their personal information now. Beginning April 4, students will use the course search and registration tools for the Summer and Fall 2022 terms. For these future terms, four-digit course IDs are replacing three-digit course IDs. Students should seek guidance from the Student Service Center, their academic advisors, or consult the how-to and quick reference guides on the Path@Penn webpage.

Advisors, schools, and departments have full access to Pennant records and Advising@Penn on March 14. The NGSS project is providing a hypercare model of support, which is accessed through the Pennant Records Resources & Support webpage.
