Academic Advisor Support Resources


Advising@Penn is a streamlined and intuitive platform to help manage the tasks in support of Penn students’ academic careers. Advising@Penn requires no formal training. The Pennant Records Resources & Support page is a gateway to the following:


Network of Support

Local service providers and other technical staff who currently support advisors are prepared to direct them to relevant resources.

An infrastructure called hypercare includes office hours, workshops, and an online issue ticketing system, which enables submitters to track their issues until resolution, provides support.


Resource Guides

Advisors can use a growing library of online guides with instructors to accomplish the most popular tasks.

Access a February 18, 2022 recording of a CourseLeaf PATH Demonstration session. It provides an overview of the functionality, look and feel, terminology, and system integrations of CourseLeaf PATH.  The session also included an NGSS timeline overview of the outage, cutover, advance registration period, and overlap of systems.


Access to Historical Data

Starting on June 21, 2022 the InTouch systems and SRS have been retired as the student systems of record, and they will no longer be updated.

Past users of SRS will have access to SRS on a read-only basis through June 30, 2023. Advisor InTouch users will have inquiry access for select capabilities through June 30, 2023. These capabilities are:

  • Advisor Notes, Worksheets, Grades, and Unofficial Transcripts
  • Advisor InTouch links to other functions will not work. Users must use Advising@Penn to access Pennant systems.
